FLACC Questionnaire
The study asks parents to complete the FLACC questionnaire. The FLACC questionnaire is a tool used by healthcare professionals to assess pain in young children or individuals who are unable to communicate their pain verbally. It stands for Face, Legs, Activity, Cry, and Consolability — five areas that are observed and scored to help determine the level of discomfort or pain a person may be experiencing.
How does it work?
This short video gives a brief explanation of the questionnaire from our ‘Chief Investigator’ Nick, and ‘Co-Chief Investigator’ Shammi.
